The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is Canada’s pre-eminent international
museum – a superlative showcase of the world’s cultural and natural
history – a place of discovery, learning, inspiration and imagination,
for visitors and staff alike.

The ROM Library and Archives are seeking a creative and innovative
professional to become a member of its library and archives team. The
position will commence on April 1, 2009. Under the Head, Library and
Archives, the Archivist/Librarian undertakes the responsibility for
organization and arrangement of the archival records in all formats
acquired and/or created by the ROM; the preparation and maintenance of
finding aids; and the development of databases and repositories for the
management of Archives operational records, and access to, discovery of,
and dissemination and promotion of archival holdings.
