The Mallet reference is probably from The 1921 edition (vol. 6) of the 
*Minutes of Proceedings, roll of members, and questions discussed* of the 
Political Economy  club.  That edition contains J.L. Mallet's "Diary" as 
an appendix. These is also a 1876 *Revised report of the proceedings at 
the dinner of 31st May, 1876, held in celebration of the hundredth year 
of the publication of the 'Wealth of Nations'.* which contains an 
extensive report of that meeting and the speakers' remarks.
