Subject: garbled nonsense
Friends, I often wonder why some messages do come out as garbled nonsense.
I think at some point someone on here explained why (no doubt one of the young people). Of course academics are already pretty skilled at delivering garbled nonsense; so we rarely need mechanized help. But how/why does that happen -- and how to fix??
just wondering as the rain pours down here in STL, --hb
