Dear AAO Members,

I've heard that most of us will be getting the next issue of "Off The
Record" within the next week or two. Some of you may notice a more
substantial contribution from the Health Archivists' Interest Group (HAIG),
and I do hope you linger for a moment on that page of the newsletter to find
out what's happening in the realm of Health Archives in Ontario.

The purpose of this message is to make you aware of HAIG's new
'web-presence'. Stephen Francom, Barbara Craig, and all of the other
friendly people involved with the Historical Health Information Locator
Service - Canada (HHILS-CAN) at the Faculty of Information Studies at the
University of Toronto are graciously hosting the electronic versions of the
HAIG contributions to Off The Record.

Each issue is directly accessible from the main page, and each article
within a particular issue is listed within a custom-made index, allowing you
fine people to jump directly to what articles may interest you most.

The Health Archivist's Interest Group wishes to thank HHILS-CAN for their
'e-services', as well as Suzanne Dubeau and Brian Masschaele of the AAO for
their valuable input concerning this endeavour.

Your questions, comments, criticisms and of course, compliments are welcome.

The "HAIG Chart" is accessible online at:

All the best,

        Joseph Travers
