----------------- HES POSTING -----------------

[Posted on behalf of Robert Leonard. -- RBE]

Dear colleagues,

The following will dispel any confusion caused by an earlier message. This year's ECHE,
"Economic Science and Visual Representation," which was originally scheduled to be held at
UQAM, Montreal, on Sept. 14-16, 2001, was postponed because of the events of Sept. 11 in
New York. It has been rescheduled for March 22-24, 2002, and, subject to the confirmation
of some details, will feature essentially the same programme. Since Sept. 11, all
conference speakers, discussants and external visitors to the ECHE have been kept
perfectly informed of these developments. Announcements to the broader scholarly
community concerning the conference will be made by the organisers when the time is
appropriate. In the meantime, HES subscribers with inquiries should feel free to contact
me.
