Understanding something as complex as an economy, requires stimulation   
from a large number of great thinkers, and a great variety of   
approaches. Reading Smith, Ricardo, Marx, Marshall or many others is to   
engage in a conversation with a great mind. Something we should try to   
do as often as possible. I am currently reading through Aristotle's   
works -- so many insights from 2400 years ago. Why limit ourselves to   
those still alive?
