The Journal of the History of Economic Thought is now published by
Cambridge University Press. Watch for our new look with the March issue.
Steven Medema remains editor of JHET, and all manuscripts and
correspondence should still be sent to him in the usual way, at
[log in to unmask] Books for review should still be addressed to the
JHET office at the Department of Economics, CB 181, University of
Colorado Denver, Denver, CO 80217-3364 USA.
Steve?s term ends July 1, 2008, and the last issue for which he is responsible is December 2008. The new editorial team of Marcel Boumans and Evelyn Forget will begin to receive manuscripts and books for review on 1 July 2008, and will produce a first issue in March 2009. Details on the new submission process will be circulated closer to the transition date.
There will be manuscripts in process as the editorial transition takes
place. We would like to assure readers and authors that we will do
everything we can to ensure that the transition occurs smoothly and,
in particular, that manuscripts in process are dealt with consistently
and efficiently. Articles and book reviews that have been accepted but
not yet published by July 1 will be in the publication queue,
currently about a year long, and will appear in due course.
Manuscripts returned for revision will go back to the same referees
when resubmitted.
Thank you for your support.
Steven Medema, Evelyn Forget and Marcel Boumans
