A friend (a non-Twainiac, but still a friend)was wondering over lunch if Twain ever met Oscar Wilde.  He had ample opportunities of doing so.  I don't recall any mention of such a meeting in the biographies I've read, but thought the far more knowledgeable people on the list most likely have better information (and memories)than I.
