Dear Kevin,

On the other hand, Tony Waterman can hardly be faulted for taking a 
presentist view of economics!  And after all a few things have happened 
in economic thinking since 1867.  Let's see. . . macroeconomics; 
marginalism (I admit that in its Max U form it has been something of a 
distraction); uncertainty.
