I'm chairing a panel called "Mark Twain at the Fin de Siecle" at next
spring's North East MLA convention in Pittsburgh (April 16-17).  I
invite one-page abstracts by September 15 on any topic related to Mark
Twain's later works or on Mark Twain's reception at the end of the
present century.
