If the question was about 'codes of professional conduct of economists'
instead of 'ethics of economics' perhaps we might have an easier option to
   look for answers.

Doctors, engineers and lawyers all must adhere to certain professional codes
of conduct, and there are professional bodies to apply discipline.
Accounting seems to be the closest subject to economics that has
   professional codes of conduct.
