I am pleased to report that the August 1998, issue of Adirondack Life
contains the article, "Writer in Residence: Mark Twain's Saranac
Summer," by Charles Alexander. Charles Alexander presented this paper at
the "State of Mark Twain's Studies" conference here at Elmira College
last August on the panel chaired by Alan Gribben, "Mark Twain's Travels
at Home."
