On Tues. April 27, online radio program "Dave White Presents" will offer a very special tribute to the work and influence of America's most celebrated humorist, social critic, and international personality-Mark Twain.
The show kicks off with Dave White's engaging interview with Henry Sweets, curator of the Mark Twain Boyhood Home in Hannibal, MO. Then, Wes Britton talks with distinguished scholar Shelley Fisher-Fishkin about Twain's influence on literature and culture which is demonstrated in her new book, The Mark Twain Anthology. Finally, noted Twain impersonator Richard Henzel discusses Twain's career as a stage performer. Richard shares a bit of his own work recreating the humor Twain was so famous for during his lifetime.
