As a long-time reader (but infrequent poster) on this list, I hoped I might tap your collective wisdom in tracking down any good historical treatments of the Impossible Trinity/Trilemma. In particular, do you know of any precursors to Mundell's work on the topic?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciate!
