The environs of the town of Deseronto were home to two pilot training camps
during the First World War. We are consequently delighted to be holding a
launch for 'Dancing in the Sky', a new book by C.W. (Bill) Hunt about the
history of the training camps that were established by the Royal Flying
Corps in Canada. The event is taking place at 2pm on Saturday March 7th at
the Deseronto Public Library.

Bill will be talking about his book (and signing copies), and there'll be a
display of photographs and other materials from Deseronto Archives that
relate to the local training camps.

Refreshments will be served and the event is open to all. More details are
available at
http://deserontoarchivist.blogspot.com/2009/02/dancing-in-sky.html.

Hope you'll drop by and say 'hello' if you're in the area!

Amanda
