I know one of our Japanese Twain friends is safe, he is not on the list, but in FB.
I too would like to hear on the list that all is well with our Twain friends there as well.
Thanks for posting Hal :)

Subject: sympathies to our Japanese friends
Friends in Japan, we here in the States are completely horrified by the news reports and the footage of the disaster in Japan. I know there are a number of you here on the LIST, and for what it's worth there are many of us sending our thoughts and prayers out to you in this time of great distress.
I know it is off-topic but I'd love to hear that you are safe and any reports you might have from the quake.
hang in there (ganbatte kudasai!), --Hal B.
