One exceptionally broad treatment is the HOPE Conference volume, The
Future of the History of Economics, edited by E. Roy Weintraub and
published in 2002 by Duke University Press as a supplement to History
of Political Economy.

There is also a nice set of papers giving a young scholars'
perspective on the topic that was published in the March 2008 issue
of the Journal of the History of Economic Thought.
