===================== HES POSTING ==================
[NOTE: I posted this query about two weeks ago, and only today noticed
that it had not appeared in the HES archive. If anyone remembers receiving
the earlier query, would they please email me? - RBE]
A recent query on the HES "Ask the Professor" service asked for responses
to the following questions regarding Aristotle's contributions to
economics. I thought I would post this to the list to collect responses
from the subscribers:
1) What do you think was Aristotle's main contribution to the development
of economic thought? Why?
2) How did his ideas differ from those of his predecessors and
contemporaries specifically noting Plato, Xenophon or Hesiod?
