The next Quadrennial Conference, a joint conference of the Mark Twain Circle and the American Humor Studies Association, is coming this summer. “Humor in America” will be held on the campus of Roosevelt University in Chicago from July 12-14. The conference will feature two types of presentations: traditional paper sessions and roundtables. Each roundtable participant will speak for 7-9 minutes on a topic related to the larger theme. Paper presentations of 15-18 minutes will be represented in a traditional format moderated by a chair. The deadline for proposals is February 1, 2018. Here is a link to the full call:
