A'hem...   not to brag, but I'm gonna...  ...if you carefully read the
"special thanks" credits that roll up at the end you will see my name. I had
the honor of arranging the custom leather binding (with a gilt presentation
caption to Mr Cosby) on a Twain book that was given to him as part of the
prize. The book contained one of Bill Cosby's favorite Twain stories (How to
Cure a Cold) and also contained a sketch (Hannibal) that was first published
in a Philadelphia newspaper (Mr Cosby's home town).

Bill Cosby was an especially good choice for the Mark Twain Prize because he
clearly knows the difference between humor and comedy. Anyone out there who
does not know the difference can read `How to Tell a Story.'
