A hundred years after Clemens' death, his influence surely remains larger 
than when he was alive.  It's amazing to think that his legacy could fuel 
a 24/7 running commentary as we have on this group, which I feel is among 
the best on the Internet, thanks to its many generous and knowledgeable 
members.
