If prediction is the test of theory, Fred Foldvary's record is outstanding.
He called the 2008 collapse 11 years before it happened, and again one year
before it happened. His work should command the attention and respect of all
students of cycle theory. If he seems to pat himself on the back too much,
it is because you all unaccountably ignore him. It appalls me how so many
contributors to this discussion carry on as though Fred did not exist. He
does; he has scooped most others; he warrants all your attention and
respect.
