Many thanks for your answers -
For brevety sake, my question was very short whereas its scope could
appear very broad. Actually the literature on the topic "economic
theory of cooperatives or of labor-managed firms" is very large (from
Proudhon and Mill to Vanek and Meade through Walras and many others)
and I'm well aware of it. My inquiry is restricted to the seminal
papers of Benjamin Needham Ward (and his thesis : From Marx to
Barone : socialism and the postwar Yugoslav industrial firm / Imprint
1956.).
I know that Ward has benefited of a Ford fellowship to study the
Yugoslav economy but I don't know if that happens after his thesis was
completed and if his thesis was already devoted to the topic of
self-management.
Probably the introduction of the thesis or the conclusion should
highlight the title (vis-à-vis the subtitle)
Thanks for any tips!
