Thank you.  The supposed quote from Petty implies that 6000 were sent to
the Indies.  The quote from Political Anatomy suggests that 6000 were sent
elsewhere with no mention of the Indies.  Was the quote from Ireland
Past and Present bogus?  It seems extraordinary that it is not mentioned
anywhere else, except in places that probably took it from that book?

Anyway, that you Daniele & Charles (who contacted me off list).  I
appreciate the collective energy here.
