Tiago,
This spring, at the Macerata phd program in HET, dr. Roberto Lampa defended a thesis on Oskar Lange's early years of scientific and political activity, with plenty of material about pre- and post-war Poland. He's a new go-to-guy on this topic.
I'll be happy to privately give you his e-mail.
Nicola Giocoli

Oggetto: [SHOE] Query on Poland, economists and government, post 1945
Inviato: 23 Set 2010 20:51

Dear SHOE list,

I am interested in the role of the economist in government and public
life in Poland, post -1945.
Can anyone suggest some good overviews on the events, characters or
institutions?
Or anything more specific such as M. Kalecki and O. Lange's fortunes
in their homeland?

With my thanks in advance,
Tiago Mata
