Sumitra Shah pointed out that it is longer easy to privately
correspond with someone on the SHOE list because all email is coming
from me.

As a workaround, the email address of the author will be displayed
after the author's name (usually at the bottom of the message -- see
below).

You can save me a few keystrokes by adding your email address after
your name in messages you send to the SHOE list ([log in to unmask]).
Thanks to Steve Medema for this suggestion and for always looking for
ways to make the moderator's job easier. I will use whatever email
address you used to post the message unless you include an address
(which can be different from your SHOE address).

It's a gorgeous day in Indiana, but alas David just couldn't beat
mighty Goliath last night. For those who don't know what I am
referring to, it turns out that basketball and the History of
Economics are similar at Duke -- they are really, really good at both
of these things.
