Reinhart and Rogoff do not explain the source of bubbles,
and their place in the long run development of the capitalist
system.  If they had, you would know why they thought
the punch bowl is "necessary in the first place".  That is
if they get it right.  Of course, if they did, "This Time is
Different", would be a different  book with a different title.
