Shelley Fisher Fishkin quotes from "A Family Sketch" in several places in _Was Huck Black?_. Some of the quoted passages in the newspaper article match what Shelley quotes, so I am assuming it is the same manuscript.
Her notes say that there is a photocopy of the manuscript at the Twain Papers and that the original was part of the Mark Twain Collection, James S. Copley Library, La Jolla, CA.
