In November, Kevin J. Bochynski told us about _Mark
Twain: Selections from the Collection of Nick Karanovich_, a
catalog of the exhibition of Twainiana at the Lilly Library
(Indiana University) in 1991. The book was printed in an
edition of 750, and the price is now $10.00 plus $1 postage--
not $15.00 as was stated in the original message.
I received a copy today, and it looks quite good. It has
transcriptions of several MT letters which don't seem to have
been published elsewhere. I was particularly interested to
see several letters by MT to a budding Canadian writer, Bruce
Weston Munro, who had been harassing Twain for advice. None
of these letters are listed in Paul Machlis' _Union Catalog of
Clemens Letters_.
If you'd like to order this catalog, the address again
is: Lilly Library, Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana
47405-3301.
