I'm glad we've eliminated 1952, but I was actually wondering if he had
said it during any of the years that he was alive. In 1952, it was
attributed to Twain. I'm trying to determine if it was attributed, in any
earlier year, to Twain, or, in any year, to anyone else. It sounds a
little fishy to me.

thanks, larry
