I would like to respond to general comments made on the MT Forum,
and those of Beth Regish on Tue, 12 Jul 94 in particular.

The soft cover editions of works from the
Mark Twain Library are comparably priced
with anything on the market, other than
used books.

_The Adventures of Tom Sawyer_, $11.00
-Tom Sawyer Abroad and Tom Sawyer Detective_, $10.00
_No. 44, The Mysterious Stranger_, $11.00
_A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court_, $12.00
_The Prince and the Pauper_, $12.00
_Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer among the Indians
 and Other Unfinished Stories_, $10.00

Also, _The Devil's Race Track: Mark Twain's Great
Dark Writings; The Best from _Which Was the Dream?_ and
_Fables of Man__, which is not part of the Mark Twain
Library (series), is available for $13.00 soft cover.

Keep in mind, these are the same Center for Scholarly
Editions approved texts as vetted by MLA. They are,
as far as Twain scholarship goes, a sight more than
liveable. And not that expensive.

All of the above texts, as well as several others from the
Mark Twain Project, are available through the California-
Princeton Fulfillment Services, 1445 Lower Ferry Road,
Ewing, N.J., 08618, FAX 1-800-999-1958, Phone 1-800-822-6657.
They take VISA, MasterCard, or American Express (in the Con-
tinental U.S. only).

I hope this is useful to you.

Contact us if you need reliable info on our products.

Respectfully,

Simon J. Hernandez
