Subject: More Twain articles
Lots of good articles on Twain lately...
Here are three from the St. Petersburg Times in Florida, another from Londo=
n's Telegraph, and Voice of America:

And yesterday a German reporter came through and is doing a piece on Twain.=
(If I've provided these links before, I apologize. It's been rather hect=
ic here of late.) Lonely Planet is putting out a book on traveling with Tw=
ain, and there have been many other writers passing through in anticipation=
of this year's events.
I wish all of the Twain Forum folks could join us this Wednesday at 12:00 n=
oon. We're having a brief ceremony with a proclamation regarding "The Year=
of Mark Twain" and will 1) bury a time capsule, 2) unveil a webcam on the =
Becky Thatcher House that will show the Boyhood Home/mall area in 24/7 stre=
aming video, and 3) unveil the new permanent exhibit at the Huck Finn House=
that goes further into the story of slavery in Hannibal. USA TODAY plans =
to cover the ceremony.
On "Juneteenth" we are installing an exhibit in the Boyhood Home showing wh=
ere Sandy likely slept with an explanation of the family's slaves.
On Saturday, Dan Mathews, VP of PETA was here to install a plaque with Twai=
n's anti-vivisection quote. We included some photos of Twain with his pets=
. (Thanks, MTP!) PETA donated $5000 to show their support.
Come visit us in Hannibal! =20
