Dear Kevin and Pegge,
Safe travels. It will be a celebration of an amazing life.
I'm quite familiar with the Sportsman's Lounge, by the way. Harlan Ellison would sneak me into Guild meetings there in 1988 during the infamous Writers Strike.
All best,
Mark

Hi Mark,

If the weather gods allow, we're on our way to Burbank for Bill's memorial
service on Sunday at the Sportsmen's Lodge. The family wanted to have it at
the Pasadena Playhouse but the date was not available. Kent is out of town
until Sunday night but we hope to see him before we head back home. We will
have coffee with Ron Masak at Sposrtmen's tomorrow morning. Several of the
"Somewhere in Time" group will be attending and we have several friends in
common with Bill so it should be a lively time.

I've been looking through my Bill Erwin treasure box of correspondence and
enjoying his sharp wit once more. Bill never quite mastered e-mail
(thankfully.) He often wrote e-mails, printed them and sent them by
snail-mail, along with clippings, notes and drawings. What an amazing man he
was!

More anon,

Kevin and Pegge
