Supplement: Geographic Distribution
There are now 432 HES email list subscribers (persons, not addresses).
That includes 412 "regulars" and 20 students in one course at SUNY-
Binghamton who are omitted from this report. Here six quarterly snapshots
cover the 15 months since we joined economic history services, or eh.net,
based at Miami Ohio. For each "large region or group", annual growth
rates for 1 Jun 96 to 1 Jun 97 are featured at bottom right.

We have subscribers in 32 countries (same as last quarter less India)
with perhaps one or two more concealed in "US America".
After USA with 209 subscribers (51%) is France with 27 (6%).

SUBSCRIBERS BY INSTITUTION
"Institutions" are defined by the one or two parts of an email address
preceding the last part or "country". Thus some institutions may be
overlooked because of their addressing conventions and some colleagues
may be overlooked because they subscribe from an outside address.
We have four or more subscribers at a handful of institutions and
three subscribers at many more.
