Hello,
Chronologically speaking, "Some Thoughts on the Science of Onanism" was
delivered to the Stomach Club in Paris in the spring of 1879. The speech
given before this one was earlier in the spring of 1879 also in Paris at the
Stanley Club Dinner. It was recorded as "Dinner Speech."
See Mark Twain Speaking by Paul Fatout, University of Iowa Press 1976 ISBN
0-87745-056-0.
Another resource might be MARK TWAIN'S SPEECHES. New York and London: Harper
& Brothers, 1910. BAL 3513.
The 1910 edition was the first collection of Twain's speeches, followed by
an edition in 1923 that added twenty-one more. Both are superseded by MARK
TWAIN SPEAKING (1976) which is harder to find in the first printing than
either the 1910 or 1923 collections.
Start with Fatout. I'm thinking he's your best bet.

Hello Twain List-ers
Professor Al Erdynast at AULA is trying to find the speech that proceeded
Twain's "The Science of Onanism" which Twain delivered at the Stomach Club
in Paris, 1879. The subject of that preceding speech was "adultery" and
Twain makes reference to it as he begins. If you could help us, we would be
deeply indebted.
Thanks,
