It was there in 1992, behind glass--like a captured specimen.  It is not
unexpectedly large but large enough though not overwhelming, not unlike Baby
Bear's chair, porridge, and bed, about what I might have anticipated.  Yes,
I suppose "reasonable" is apt enough.  I was pleased to be able to see--and
pleasantly surprised to come upon--the fabled machine there.  Its presence
in that house has a rather ironic appropriateness.
