Thanks to Jerome Blanc for the note on Fisher's stamp scrips proposals. If I
have overstated my criticism of Fisher, I am prepared to apologize and
retract, but first let me look at the works cited. There was an unrealistic
or "screwball" quality to some of Fisher's crusades, and this one may (or
may not) fit the pattern.
