Kevin's paper, a rejoinder from Hall and Hart, plus comments (from Robert Solow, Richard Lipsey ...?) should appear (in a minisymposium?) in HOPE or HER.

Subject: [SHOE] Samuelson and Solow Redux

I had no wish to intervene in the perhaps overly personal recent 
exchanges with regard to Hall and Hart's paper on Samuelson and Solow's 
price-inflation Phillips curve ("The Samuelson-Solow Phillips Curve and 
the Great Inflation").  But they did prompt me to look at that paper 
carefully.  I'm afraid that I disagree with it sufficiently strongly 
that I have written a paper that investigates the way in which Samuelson 
and Solow actually constructed their price-Phillips curve and uses my 
reconstruction as a basis for criticizing Hall and Hart's paper.  My
