I recently cowrote an article with Rajiv Sethi entitled 'The Theory of
Evolution and the Evolution of Theory: Veblen's Methodology in Contemporary
Perspective', Cambridge Journal of Economics, vol.20, no.4, July
pp.475-496, which addresses some of these questions, and that has a
bibliography which may be useful.
