Folks; as you all know, this month is the 100-year anniversary of the death
of Mark Twain in 1910, a death that was no exaggeration.
Among other things, and in the interest of shameless self-promotion: I will
be one of 2 guests on a virtual talk show called Copper Robot. The topic
will be the life and legacy of Mark Twain. It will be broadcast live in
Second Life, on Wednesday evening, beginning at 8 pm CST (6pm Pacific Time):
the other guest is the august and amusing David Sloane. info at:

As for how interested people might be able to tune in and listen: You can
do it in Second Life, or you can watch the live streaming video on the Web:

Or listen to the podcast afterward, which will be posted here:

For any of you youngsters who mock my computer skills, please get a load of
that one (assuming, of course, I can get it all figured out by then)! As
for you other digital dinosaurs, this over-reliance on the gods of
electronics, about which our learned master warned us, is also a terrific
opportunity to hoist you firmly into the 21st-century, all gadget-wise and
nonesuch. And so on.
Thanks!
