Dear All,

may I add an unpretentious reference to Schumpeter's "The theory of
economic development.", published in 1911.

I am not a German speaker and thus cannot say whether the German title is
so fully committed to the (English) development terminology. But there may
be a line of inquiry here as for what led him to work on the theme and use
the term.

All the best,
