This accusation of Allende is preposterous.  There is no evidence that he supported death squads.  To compare him to Mugabe is despicable.  Shame on you.

I doubt if there is any more documented evidence of a formal connection between the death squads that killed the owners of property that the Allende regime was expropriating than there is of a formal connection between Robert Mugabe and the killers of former landowners in Zimbabwe.

I'm not aware that Allende supported death squads.
