Planning to be in Toronto for ACA 2011?

The TAAG Executive cordially invites you to register for the annual general meeting, dinner and lecture happening Tuesday, May 31st, 2011 at the Upper Dining Room of the Faculty Club located at 41 Willcocks Street, beginning with cocktails at 5:15pm. This event is generously sponsored by Ancestry.ca. 

Our guest speaker this year is Robert Steiner, contributor to 'Better Off Forgetting: Essays on Archives, Public Policy, and Collective Memory'. A former Wall Street Journal foreign correspondent, Steiner is currently Director of the Journalism Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto. After serving as communications adviser in the campaigns of two Canadian prime ministers, Robert recently completed a term as assistant vice-president of the University of Toronto, in charge of strategic communications. His exciting topic will be journalism and archives. 

Tickets for this event are $45. A cash bar will be open for the enjoyment of attendees.
