Apologies for cross-posting.

It's safe to assume that your bag is already packed. Perhaps you have
already arrived at the airport! Who could blame you - the 2011 ACA
Conference in Toronto begins in only five days!!

In the final post in the Host Committee's series of social activity
spotlights we provide you with a few reminders and point you towards
resources on the Conference web page that will help you make the most
of your time in Toronto.

**

But first, an exciting announcement!

One of the most popular events at the ACA Conference is, of course,
the traditional East/West Ballgame. After some quick research on the
ACA website, it was discovered that, of those games that were
reported, the current standings are 11 wins for each side!

However, a new development will make this year*s clash all the more
hotly contested. The winners of Thursday night's game will not only
have bragging rights for the upcoming year, but they will also be the
recipient of the recently rediscovered Doughty Cup!!

Details of this seemingly long lost trophy will be revealed during its
presentation following the game. But needless to say, the stakes will
be as high as they have ever been!

On to less important matters!

All the relevant materials for your attendance at the Conference -
Conference at a Glance, Online program - is available on the ACA
website. There's even a list of registered delegates, so you can
decide ahead of time who you want to see... And who you plan to drag
on to the dance floor!

For a reminder of all the social activities that have been planned -
and advertised in these posts over the past months - check out the
social actitivies page:

Remember that some of the activities require you to sign up at
the registration table when you first arrive. In most cases there is a
cap on participants, so don't forget!

Recommendations for restaurants, outings, and other activities in the
Toronto area have also been posted on the website. This page also
includes the list of Toronto-area archives that have made themselves
available for tours along with their contact information:

Wondering how you are going to find your way from Pearson Airport to
the Conference hotel? Consider using Airport Express and get 10% off
the cost when you book your ticket using the ACA link:
