On the Scottish enlightenment see also Hamowy, R. 1987. The Scottish Enlightenment and the Theory of Spontaneous Order. Carbondale: Southern Illinois University Press.
Hamowy's work, however, must be treated with the greatest caution. As Straun Jacobs (1998) has pointed out, George Roche III and Hamowy were keen to (falsely) attribute to Hayek originality with respect to the term and notion of "spontaneous" order. As the hagiographic editor of The Constitution of Liberty: The Definitive Edition, Hamowy was, at the very least, negligent.

Dear all,
Allow me to mention the following by Japanese scholars:
The Rise of Political Economy in the Scottish Enlightenment, ed. by T.
