Dear All,

This is not a joke, but unfortunately a true story.

Few days ago, being involved in a paper on Chicago School, I asked
separately three colleagues, all professional distinguished economists, full
professor of economic disciplines in Italian universities: «who is Frank
Knight?».

Nobody of them knew him, not to mention his seminal contribution to the
science.

May I submit some multiple choices to answer this question?

1.Italy is an underdeveloped country.

2.Was my fault: I made the wrong question.

3.Frank Knight is rubbish.

4.It is a bad moment for Economics.

What do Economists know about Economics?

Thank you for your cooperation

Sergio Noto
