Dear all

Does anybody know of any articles, books, etc. looking at the
establishment and history of the John Bates Clark Medal? I'm particularly
interested in discovering the motivation behing the founding of the medal,
what factors have influenced the awarding committee, and linked to this
last point, to what extent the holding of the medal has determined whether
or not recipients have gone on to receive the Nobel.

Many thanks

Bob
