Dear Mr. Rutherford
I am a Steerig Committee member of
The Society for the History of Economic Thought, Japan.
Its present president(1995-1996) is
Prof. Koji NAKAMURA (Kumamoto Gakuen University).
The person in charge of contact with oversea associations is
Prof. Takashi NEGISHI (Aoyama Gakuin University) and me.
Please send me any informations or inquiries by E-mail or
Fax. I'll send them forward to Prof. Nakamura and Prof. Negishi.
The program of the annual meeting of our Society is regularly
on the HET-Newsletter.
I began watching HESLIST since May to catch useful informations
for our Society. Now, I am thinking whether we can establish a similar
network of historians of HET in Japan. In this case using Japanese
letters.
By the way, you know already that Germans have Dogmenhistorisher
Ausschuss within the Gesellschaft fuer Wirtschafts- und Sozial-
wissenschaften (Verein fuer Sozialpolitik), don't you?
Sincerely
Kiichiro YAGI
