We have a pair of recordbooks from a maternity boarding house located in
a small Ontario community, dating 1947-1952. The maternity boarding
house appears to have been privately owned, but was regulated by the
township Board of Health.

Is anyone familiar with the legality of providing these types of records
for access to researchers? While I believe that it would be
inappropriate, I am unfamiliar with the exact legislation which would
apply in this particular case.

Thanks,
