Hi Tracy,

Good to hear from you via the Mark Twain Forum. I would be remiss if I didn't ask: have you found a tenure-track position yet? Hopefully, given that you are still active as book review editor of STUDIES IN AMERICAN HUMOR, you have given all hope for finding a job in higher academe. From what I have heard, the job market has not improved significantly in the humanities, but I still hope you are trying to find something.

Again, if there is anything I can do to help you, please ask me. If StAM ever receives books on southern humor or humorists, I would be delighted to review for the journal.

How Jennifer and the new baby?

Best,
Ed
